If you want to treat yourself to some relaxation, this is the right place. The park is located a few steps from Piazza Duomo and from here it is possible to have a splendid view of the surrounding panorama. The park owes its name to the remains of the Rocca di Montestaffoli, from the 14th century and once the seat of the bishop of Volterra. Today you can see the remaining parts of the walls. However, this place has acquired a new life, since the park itself is home to demonstrations, events and shows throughout the summer, such as the Giostra dei Basioni, held at the beginning of summer. In this place, the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience La Rocca also takes place, thanks to which you can taste a glass of wine and enjoy the breathtaking views that the outdoor terrace offers.
